Business Cards

Business cards where the stock, the edge and the finish do some of the talking.

A stack of blank thick business cards in white and slate with a few cards fanned in front

Overview

A business card is small enough that every choice shows: the weight of the stock, the edge, the finish and how much you leave out. Keep the content short: a name, a role, and the ways to reach the person. A crowded card is harder to read and harder to remember.

We print to your artwork and agree a proof first. For teams, send names and titles as a clean list so each version is checked once, not found wrong after printing.

Options and finishes

  • Stock

Standard or heavier card; a thicker stock feels more substantial and holds an edge better.

  • Finish

Matt, satin or gloss, with a coating where cards will be handled often.

  • Size and orientation

Standard or other sizes, landscape or portrait, to suit your layout.

  • Variants

One design with many names, printed as a single job.

What to include in your request

The more of this you can send, the closer the first quote will be to the job.

  1. Quantity, and the number of different names
  2. Stock and finish preference
  3. Artwork, with text checked
  4. Names and titles as a list for teams
  5. Date needed
08/ 08

Tell us what you need produced.

Send the specification, the quantity and the date. If the specification is not settled yet, send what you have and we will come back with the questions that matter.

  1. 01

    Specification

What it is, what it is made of and how it is finished. A reference or a sketch is enough to start.

  2. 02

    Quantity

How many, and whether the order will repeat.

  3. 03

    Date

The day the work has to be in place. We plan backwards from it.
