Overview
A flag is seen from a distance and moves in the wind. Fabric, size and finishing decide whether it still looks right after a day outdoors. The eight types below cover the common uses, from a desk flag on a meeting table to a large flag on an outdoor pole.
Flags are usually printed on polyester, often by sublimation, so the colour goes into the fabric and does not crack. Tell us how the flag will be flown and we will suggest the size and finishing.

Options and finishes
Fabric weight
Lightweight fabric flies well in light wind; heavier fabric suits stronger wind and longer use.
Printing
Often sublimation on polyester; printing both sides lets the design read correctly from either side.
Finishing
Hems, reinforced corners, rope and toggle or sleeve, set by how it will be flown.
